Wonderful nutrient definitions and uses, thanks to Bio-Lumin Essense

Acid Stable Protease- (Aspergillus niger) 133 ASPU units. It breaks down proteins in a pH range of 1-5. This means that it is active in the lower portion of the stomach when pepsin is also active.

Alpha Galactosidase- (Aspergillus niger) 50 GALU units. It breaks down the sugars found in beans and legumes in a pH range of 4-5.

Alpha Lipoic Acid - 33mg. Moderates blood sugar levels, may be effective in treating Parkinson’s, generating energy, protects the liver from alcohol damage as well as the lungs from smoke damage.

Alpha Lipoic Acid- 100mg. Insulin potentiator which utilizes fats, moderates blood sugar levels, may be effective in treating Parkinson’s, generating energy, protects the liver from alcohol damage as well as the lungs from smoke damage.

Amylase - (Aspergillus oryzae) 1,000 SKB units. It breaks down carbohydrates (polysaccharides) into disaccharides (two sugars) in a pH of 4-10.

Bifidobacterium bifidum- 3.0 billion CFU (Colony Forming Units).

Bifidobacterium breve- 5.2 billion CFU. Same functions as bifidum.

Bifidobacterium infantis- 7.2 billion CFU. Same functions as bifidum.

Bifidobacterium longum- 1.2 billion CFU. Same functions as bifidum.

Biotin- 100mcg. Keeps hair from turning gray and falling out, alleviates eczema and dermatitis, eases muscle pains. Water soluble.

Blue Green Algae - 25mg. A fresh water algae that is rich in minerals, vitamins, amino acids and enzymes that are readily absorbed by the body. Also very high in chlorophyll, a blood detoxifier and antiseptic. It contains over 60% plant protein.

Boron- (amino acid chelate- AAC) 1mg. Helps prevent osteoporosis and brain function.

Bromelain- (Ananas comosus) 400 GDU. Fights inflammation, reduces swelling, speeds recovery, improves respiratory conditions, fights cardiovascular problems, bolsters the immune system and can help extend life.

Chlorella- (whole plant) 33mg. A rich source of vegetable protein and essential vitamins and minerals.

Choline- (bitartrate) 50mg. Helps control cholesterol, aids the liver in eliminating toxins, increases memory, used in treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. Water soluble.

Chromium- (AAC) 60mcg. Lowers blood pressure, prevents sugar cravings and sudden drops in energy as well as chances of diabetes.

Citric acid- 160mg. Used to create an acidic environment once the capsule has dissolved which will then initiate the release of nascent oxygen.  

Citrus Bioflavanoids- 11mg. Strengthens the capillary walls, builds resistance to infection, another source of Vitamin C, heals bleeding gums.

Guar Gum - 1 gram. A good source of fiber, lowers cholesterol levels, known to slow glucose absorption.

Hemicellulase- (Aspergillus niger) 166 HCU units. It breaks down complex sugars into simple sugars found in seeds and beans in a pH range of 2-6.  

Inositol - 30mg. Produces a calming effect, lower cholesterol levels, promotes healthier hair, prevents eczema. Water soluble.

Inulin - 3 grams. A great source of fiber, helps to maintain bowel regularity, lowers cholesterol levels, a food source for the beneficial bacteria found in the intestines.

Invertase- (Saccharomyces) 100 SU units. It breaks down sucrose (two sugars) into fructose (single sugar) and glucose (single sugar) in a pH range of 2-6.

Iodine- (kelp) 30mcg. More energy, promote healthy hair, nails, skin and teeth, burn excess fat, insures proper growth.

Lactase- (Aspergillus oryzae) 166 LACU units. It breaks down lactose (two sugars) into galactose (single sugar) and glucose (single sugar) in a pH range of 4-8.

Lactobacillus acidophilus- 7.2 Billion CFU (Colony Forming Units).

Lactobacillus brevis- 900 million CFU. Same functions as acidophilus.

Lactobacillus bulgaricus- 900 million CFU. Same functions as acidophilus.

Lactobacillus casei- 900 million CFU. It is stable in acid and bile. It produces an antimicrobial substance that inhibits pathogens like C. difficile diarrhea in a pH of 4-7.  

Lactobacillus helveticus- 300 million CFU. Same functions as acidophilus.

Lactobacillus lactis- 300 million CFU. Same functions as acidophilus.

Lactobacillus plantarum- 900 million CFU. Originally found in foods such as sauerkraut and sourdough. Works in the small intestine and eliminates dozens of harmful pathogens such as E. coli in a pH range 4-7.

Lactobacillus rhamnosus- 900 million CFU. These bacteria are very powerful immune stimulators and will boost the immune system’s effectiveness by up to 300% in killing off foreign invaders. They inhibit uropathogenic bacteria and thereby help prevent recurrent urinary tract infections. pH range of 4-7.

Lactobacillus salivarius- 300 million CFU. Dramatically increases energy levels by breaking down proteins and its byproducts and making nutrients more available. Its effectiveness against pathogenic microorganisms is so powerful that symptoms of food poisoning have been relieved within 30-60 minutes after ingestion in a pH of 4-7

Lipase- (Aspergillus niger) 100 FIP. Aids in the breakdown of undigested fats that will putrefy in the intestinal tract.

Lipase AN- (Aspergillus Niger) 1,280 FIP units. Breaks down fat molecules or tryglycerides into three simple fatty acids.  

Magnesium- (citrate) 51mg. Help burn fat and produce energy, promotes a healthy cardiovascular system and prevents heart attacks, relieves indigestion, healthier teeth, helps prevent calcium deposits, kidney and gallstones.

Magnesium- (MAG07)(magnesium oxide, peroxide and superoxide) 900mg. Used as the vehicle for the oxygen, also has a laxative effect.

Protease- (Aspergillus oryzae) 14,666 HUT units. This enzyme breaks down proteins into amino acids in a pH range of 4-10. This means that it’s active in the “predigestion” stage, inactivates in the lower stomach and reactivates in the small intestine.

Protease- (Aspergillus oryzae) 200,000 HUT units. Activates white blood cells from 700-1,300%, breaks down uric acid crystals, supports the liver and reduces spicules, separates red blood cells (protein linkage, rouleau, erythrocyte aggregation).

Rhodiola Rosea- 250mg. This standardized extract (3% rosavin, 1.5% salidroside) increases energy (adaptagen), blocks cortisol and acts as an appetite suppressant.

Whey Protein concentrate - 7 grams. The most “usable” arrangement of amino acids available. Whey provides the building blocks of glutathione, the body’s most important antioxidant. It will also increase immunity, supress hunger, encourage fat burning and act as a anti-bacterial and anti-microbial agent. This is a “fast” burning that must be blended with “slower” proteins such as milk.
